Woman making an impact in energy!
Nominees are identified as someone who has contributed to our industry in a meaningful way, and helped others progress in their careers. We will showcase a woman making an impact in energy who deserves a shout out for their contributions.
"Rising Powerhouse" in energy!
A "powerhouse" is someone with great power, is a source of influence or inspiration, and has great drive, energy, or ability.
Nominees are identified as someone in our industry who has shown great commitment and work ethic and aspire to do big things. We will showcase an up-and-coming woman in energy who would benefit from recognition so people know their talents.
New category: allyship award!
In an effort to recognize the importance of allyship, and to make sure that we, as a women’s organization, acknowledge and applaud those supporting the women within their organizations, we have added a new category called the Allyship Award. While WIE is a women's organization, we often refer to this as "Male Allies," but we realize the importance of diversity and inclusivity when honoring those who strive to help women reach their highest potential. Allyship is critical when it comes to women succeeding in our heavily male-dominated field, and believes that those who ally themselves with the rising women in their organizations deserve recognition. The WIE Allyship Award is our way of celebrating those who help the women in their companies succeed.
If you are a self-identified woman working in the energy industry, please nominate an ally who has a proven record of working to advance DEI in the workplace.
